I update these pages quite slowly, so please bear with me!
Springtime and the beginning of summer have been a wonderful time, watching nature burst into bloom. The perfumed smell of lily-of-the-valleys in the forest, of scented lilac bushes along with the fresh smell of earth after a summer shower of rain have all added to this buoyant feeling of being alive. This has caused me to think of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His garments are said to be fragrant with myyrh, aloes and cassia ( Psalm 45:8).
I ask myself - what am I clothed with? Others see my outward appearance, dress and accessories. But how is my character revealed? I pray and trust that The Almighty God sees my actions and outward looks through the lens of Jesus Christ's majestic work of atonement and sanctification.
You can also think and ponder on the type of inner beauty and clothing which brings fragrance into the neighborhood.
